The Wayfarer Set-Ups

  • Axle Mounted

    Most front baskets are mounted to the front wheel axle using a metal support. This support connect directly to The Wayfarer's bamboo baseboard. Most bike shops stock these connections.

  • Fork-Blade Mounted

    A front rack makes a stronger and more balanced base for the basket. The Wayfarer baseboard can be combine with metal mounting plates for easy installation. Your local bike shop can help you install.

  • Frame Mounted

    While not common, we believe the Brook & Breeze frame-mounted basket makes for lighter steering and more stability. Combining The Wayfarer with our Boomerang platform is super strong & easy.

Installing The Wayfarer Basket

The Wayfarer Basket is compatible with standard basket mounting methods: front axle mounted, fork-blade mounted, or frame-mounted.

Included:

  • Bamboo baseboard with pre-cut installation holes (compatible with most front-axle and front rack configurations)
  • Woven basket frame with steerer attachment plate (compatible with 2- and 4-hole steer attachments)
  • 2 stainless steel leash hooks
  • 2 adjustable nylon leashes
  • Assembly nuts, bolts, and tools

Not Included:

  • Steerer-to-Basket Connection Mount (dependent on fork type, see your local bike shop)
  • Axle-to-Basket Support (dependent on wheel type.
